Macaron, ‘lady’ of legal cuisine
France flower racks mentioned, people often think about the Eiffel Tower and Macaron, famous cakes devoted love of people.
Macaron is pastry made from egg whites, powdered sugar, granulated sugar, almond powder and a little food coloring. Fillings are usually filled with jam, ganache or buttercream cake sandwiched between the two sides. The name originates from the Italian Macaron is ‘Maccarone’ or ‘maccherone’ (that is crushed).
There is a lot of controversy surrounding the origin of Macaron. According to many people, Macaron is derived from Italian pastry chef Catherine de Mesdicis according to France in 1533 when she married King Henry II. Then there are other stories that in the town of Nancy, Lorraine region of France has a monastery where people are not allowed to eat meat. To meet the extreme diet, the two sisters is Marguerite and Marie – Elisabeth has created Macaron cake.
Initially cake only simple circle as regular crackers. With the creation of Pierre Desfontaines of the French pastry shop Ladurée, Macaron become pie crusts and two in the middle class that we often see today.
